i like Pete's singalongs...but

i hate the way that 'This Land Is Your Land' is turned into some gospel style singalong with happy-clappy instruments and big cheery choruses like a modern church hymn. It's SO much more effective with just some quiet guitar and soloist singing the lyrics with some introspection.

I hate the way this legenday and meaningful Woody Guthrie song gets put through the power-gospel machine like so many other great tunes :(
