I've been interested for years. My dad lived across the street from Arthur Allen in Santa Rosa, I was there many many times so its always been close to home. No one I know ever knew him, his place was across the street but only 200 feet away. Anyway, I was relived and surprised when they excluded Allen and just never dropped interest. There were also another long string of murders in Santa Rosa which they tried to tie to Bundy and Z but they never stuck. A half dozen girls.
Gareth penn did it. Chrsitopher Farmer's work proves it. I don't know why FBI isn't looking into Farmer's work. have they done any partial DNA analysis from envelope and Penn's DNA??
I have not studied Gareth Penn's theory in depth know whether his suspect or Penn himself were involved in the Zodiac murders. Penn nor his suspect had anything to do with Joan Webster's murder. There is nothing that connects either one to her. This was looked at. It became another confusing diversion in the case.
@Downs2440 As far as I know, Penn's fingerprints have NOT been compared to Zodiac. Penn has never been a suspect, so the police or FBI would not have grounds to check his fingerprints. Plus, it has never been proved that the fingerprints left behind were in fact those of the Zodiac.
@Downs2440 , i mean that fingerprints in this case, can not prove anything, when i also mean that the zodiac would be a person that is clever enough to use hancerchifes, so that there would not come any of his fingerprints on the letters.
@Neptun1971 The Zodiac claimed to have used glue on his finger tips. Most of the places where finger prints were lifted like the telephone in Napa and the Cab on Cherry St were in places that were perhaps touched by dozens of people.
One Napa officer said that "some prints at the telephone booth were so fresh that they were moist and had to be dried before lifting". Its odd I've never heard another word about Those prints!
I'm looking into this Penn thing a little more, I'm sceptical though.
But he also lied.

Gareth Penn to me was the killer. The Ciphers all point to him =]

First of all, I don't see how it is proven that Farmer's work is valid.
Second, Penn's fingerprints have been compared to the Zodiac's and they did not match.
