This song seems to rely on the concept of a twenty-first century artist. To state that the creative concept of who God is stands upon a postmodern ideal is to neglect not just the history of christianity and judaism, but on the history of art as well. I get the message, and i love those aspects of God as well, but all of Jesus' kingdom parables rely on an idea of the day of the Lord, and the salvation of only some, which is troubling for today's readers as it presents God as judge and warrior

As the previous person said, Christianity is every bit as twisted, archaic, and ridiculous as Islam. If you try to say otherwise you are just glossing over parts of the Bible that don't feel good to you. The craziest people are the ones who actually go by what the Bible says.

I am an Atheist because..There is no such thing as God. In your first verse's you describe Christianity. They converted by the Sword and the Gun.Ex.History. Jihad means struggle, that's it. It's all about interpretation. The bible itself is WAY more violent and Disgusting than the Qua'ran. It comes down to a matter of interpretation. The god of Islam is the God of Christianity. Do some research and you will see.

I think you've misunderstood what Brian is trying to say here. The song isn't meant to mean "the christian God versus everyone else's God," it's meant as an elbow in the side of fellow christians.  You should check out his other videos and maybe even pick up a few of his books (available anywhere)...you might find something you like. Thanks for watching!
