I guess that explains why so many people are griping about MTV not having the videos they were used to seeing growing up. But like I said, I have the option of 5 MTV channels so I watch MTV HITS and it is just like when I was a teenager and just sat there and watched videos all night long:)

Wow.....song really brings back the Memories.....Early 1989....Just got married with a Baby on the way......Played this song as a young 28 yr old Disc Jockey on 106.3FM KHAT Radio in Lincoln, Nebraska. David Jr. came out of the oven when this song was in the top-10. Fast Forward to 2010.....The wife is now my EX-wife....and Baby David is now an inch taller than me and now 21 years old.....Can anybody tell me where the last 2 decades went. Wholy Cow!!!!!!

@DaveWollenberg It peaked at #77 in the UK. "Hands To Heaven" was their only big success in their home country reaching #4. Breathe was a lot more successful in the US. Their first album "All That Jazz" spun off three top 10 singles.

So how do u know the drummer, Ian "Spike" Spice died from a drug overdose? I heard it was a tragic car accident. I hope it wasn't drugs. He was my favorite. Either way, still a tragic loss. I still love them all.

orginally a 5 piece band called Catch 22, Breathe was an amazing band from England. mixing pop, sould with hints of jazz, this quartet (besides being great musicians) had one obvious thing in their favor. the incredible voice of David Glasper.

sadly, drummer Ian Spice died in 2000 and guitarist Mark Lillington is now involved in web design, we can still hope for some future music from this great band.

gr8 song! when I was in high schoo/l we LIVED for Night Tracks...we didn't have cable(hence, not having MTV) in my podunk town so that's how we got our videos..I'd watch it from midnight until about 5 or 6 a.m. ahhh, memories!

Breathe disbanded after their second LP, went their separate ways, and lost a former drummer Ian Spice to a drug overdose some years ago.

Latest word is that David Glasper (with a G) is living in Thailand and working on new music.
