I have a 1970 plymouth roadrunner RM23 HP383 matching numbers i recently swaped out 383 to save it and put the 440 in with a mild cam front disc brakes edelbrock 600 cfm carb edelbrock intake stock exhaust headers and flowmaster 40 series muffelers
The original 383 was long gone before I got the car. It had a 440 in it. Then when that spun a bearing I figured why not get even MORE power and stroke it to a 493??
It was a 440, but was rebuilt .030 over and stroked for a final displacement of 493.
It has Edelbrock RPM Performer Intake & Heads, Demon Carb and Headmann Headers. It was dynoed at 511 HP and 595 # of torque. I bought it from some kid in Walnut Creek about 3 years ago. Since then everything as been replaced or rebuilt. It has a 3.55 sure-grip and a 2700 RPM stall converter. I also did a disc brake conversion. It has WORKING A/C, P/W, P/S & PDB. Anything else?
1968 charger,383 numbers matching,it felt quick when i got it,but feels a bit tame now,i restored it myself,(paint and trim)i replaced the rear suspension earlier this year and i am currently doing the front suspension, disc brake conversion from stainless steel brakes, seriously thinking of taking my engine out for something really powerful maybe a built 440,possibly stroked.when its all done,i might be able to give up driving a taxi on a weekend!LOL
I'm diggin that beast. I had a 78 bird all lined up to buy and just as i was about to buy, the jump in gas happened and i just said w/e and got an infiniti instead. One of my most regretted decisions
reminds me of my partners 68 goat. He could just stand on it and smoke the tires for the full quarter. He junked the car years ago but has that motor and trans in his garage still. What a torque monster. I still prefer mopars and always will. you have a very nice car there
I could do that with a Yugo...
Why bother with a brake-stand with a car like that? What a waste of tires.

too easy for a car like that
