It's hard because to romanticize what he is going through and their story is only one part of it. He is clearly a stand-up guy... it's touching and inspiring in a world of people who are weakened by their desires for self-gratification rather than giving to the people they love. If he doesn't stay with her, I wouldn't think anything less of him, but rather am happy to see someone who truly loves the way one should love another human being.
