  • *Listens to what's on TV* .......Shut up! *Throws Glass*

  • I have looked so long for the clip at 1:28. "Can't wait till I get a harmonica."

    Priceless.

And yes that's Maggie Smith. She is SO GOOD. As is Carol Burnett as the Queen. Or anybody else for that matter.

  • Bette Davis NEVER said 'Peter peter peter'

  • LMFAO 'Yeahh i can hardly wait till i get a harmonica!!'

  • my last name is wiggins. I got so many jokes growing so one day my mom showed me why they joked and I have loved my last name ever since.

  • Our family gathered around the TV at 10 PM on saturday nights. We laughed out of control. Reality TV drives me fricking crazy.....this is entertainment.

    Brad, 48

  • Lmfao, the last clip was classic -3

  • "Listen you empty bodied boob! I spent me last shilling on this dress, I've had me toenails painted and everything. Come all the way down from bleeding London to stand by this bloody smelly ocean, and YOU say she can't hit the ship with the bottle?" (CLANG!) "Let the old bat hit the ship with the bottle!!!!" 4:05

  • @allinthefamilyfan I would've NEVER been able to say that without messing up!!!! LOL

  • I grew up watching Carol Burnett. Every Saturday night she would be on TV. She was on for so many years that I took the show for granted. I still laugh when I see these clips. Harvey Korman, Tim Conway, Vicki Lawrence and Carol what a team. There has never been any comparison to this show nor their funny wit.

  • the woman at 4:18 is dame maggie smith :)

  • Maggie Smith was on Carol Burnett! They obviously knew what talent was--besides being talented themselves!

  • OMG so funny... Love younger Maggie at 2:57 and 4:04. It's always cool seeing everyone so young. This is truly one of the greatest comedy shows ever. It's too bad it aired before my time so there are still a lot of clips I havent seen yet.

  • Carol Burnett is a legend in her own time. One of funnier ladies to ever grace television. Classic.

  • aaaahhhhh....back when there was REAL t.v. shows instead of this 'Reality' CRAP!!

  • OMG, what a talent Carol is. Love her impressions of Bette Davis and Katharine Hepburn.

  • way funny thank hyou

  • Nobody ever talks about it, but Carol was very, very sexy!

  • "You wanna know why you can't take it? BECAUSE YOU'RE WEAK >=( WHY DID I EVER MARRY YOU PETA! PETA! PETA!? BECAUSE I WAS YOUNG, TERRIBLY YOUNG!"

  • I grew up watching Carol and the gang. Her show was the peak of TV entertainment. I did alot of searching for a replacement when her show ended. Never found anything that even came close. Saturday Night Live? Baaaa! It had a few moments but when you could obviously tell that the performers were reading their dialog line for line directly off the cue cards thats when I knew the era of great comedy talent had ended.

  • @ole9421 The tracey Ullman Show was alot like Carol's Show

  • at the end, when she tugs her ear, that is her "hello" to her grandmother. she does it on every episode, mainly the end. Usually the end is when she says, "goodnight everybody" or something like that, and she tugs her ear. It was cool that she incoorporated it in her skit here.

  • Mrs. Higgins was my favorite person on Carol Burnet show. I loved the way she walked...it was walking wasn it not?? These kind of shows are NOT on t.v. any more

    and more's the pity!!

  • LOL! Birde of Frankenstein...two tiny little bolts...

  • best part is a 4 minutes.. omg thats great..

  • lol, it' supposed to be 'Eleanor of Aquitaine' not "Aquicade"

    =P

  • @BeBitched86 exactly

  • DYING at 6:35

  • Television desperately needs to return to this type of programming.

  • Love Carol Burnett so funeeeeeeeeey... she was quite beautiful too!!! And quite sexy in her own way...

  • 1:10 "ya i can hardly wait until i get a harmonica!"

    XD total fave!

  • Why can't they put this show back on tv i would love to see every episode

  • I love the one with Maggie Smith. This was an incredible scene and I loved how she hit Tim Conway because he did not want the Queen to hit the "Ship" with the bottle. If you listen carefully the second time she hits Tim, Maggie Slips and the word Ship was pronounced sort of incorrectly...What a riot...You go Maggie!!!

  • LEGENDARY Carol Burnett!!!! I love her show!! and I'm only 20!! I wish I were born back then to witness her genius comedy variety show live!!

hey wait, does anybody know if that was a young Maggie Smith at 4:05 ??

  • @imLovinKellyCCarrieU a young-ish Maggie Smith.

  • @chicagovidmaker ok thanks!

  • @imLovinKellyCCarrieU lol i’m only 20 as well! it is nice to know someone else my age who appreciates the classics =]

  • @supermolly18 thanks! I agree! it's nice to know there are others out there in our young generation that respect and love the legendary classics!! kids today should at least hear about the existence of such classic shows (including the classic cartoons)

  • @imLovinKellyCCarrieU Yes. It was the funniest show on at the time. I saw most of them in re-runs during the late 70's.

  • @imLovinKellyCCarrieU and yes, that's Maggie Smith.

  • @imLovinKellyCCarrieU I remember this show came on once a week when I was a child, it was pretty late and I watched it while I laid my head in her lap. I never saw the end of any of them until I was much older because I always fell asleep! Good Memories!

  • I am totally cracking up! Laughing so hard! Thank you for sharing this. I really need to laugh! Thank you. Thank Carol Burnett - the best comedian ever!

  • Priceless comedy! Thanks for posting this.

I didn't even know that Carol Burnette did all this! This is FUNNY!

  • Great set of clips! Who's @ 3:47 yelling at Mama? It looks like Joanne Woodward but I'm probably wrong!

  • Is she playing 2 different characters??

  • the ending is priceless so funny "shut up'' lol i laffed so hard

  • Carol's faux harmonica was real nice!

  • YAY!!!! 6:20 is a parody of Random Harvest!!!! Hurray :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D <3

  • These are awesome videos!!! Thanks for posting them all!!

  • OMG - I Love this so much - this is hysterical. So freaking hilarious. :) Tudball and Wiggins are my favorite.

  • Aw the caged dames one was so sad to me because vicky was acting so stupid and carol kept hitting her.

  • Well you are NOT my mother, mrs harper! So, I have no emotional objection about pnching you right in the nose!

You gonna let her talk to me like that, Yunis?!

    go, go, go....

    LMAO!!! LOVE IT!!!

  • lol Eunice go go go!

  • @BlueLily2583 Joanne Woodward, that was...

  • super funny

  • I can't wait till I get a harmonica!!! The Nina, The Pinta and The Stinky. And Harvey doing Peter Lorre - PRICELESS!!

  • what film is the "peter peter peter" bit from? and what is this sketch called?

  • the sketch was the about her being a woman obsessed with the movies!

she was playing bette davis here

  • Bette NEVER said Perter X 3 in any film.

  • oh my gosh, maggie smith!

  • Yeah, she was hot back then.

  • I thought mr. tudball was sweedish.

  • At 4:05 is that Maggie Smith? The red head?

  • Yes that is a young and wonderful Maggie Smith

  • you think the HP cast has seen her looking like this?

  • ANd Joanne Woodward telling MAMa off.

  • Is Tim Conway's character Mr. Tudball supposed to be Italian or Norwegian or something?

  • Her Katherine Hepburn is spot on!

  • Betty Davis?

  • Her Betty Davis is really good too, but I was talking about when she starts saying "You my keep me a prisoner in this palace forever your Majesty..." She is impersonating Katherine Hepburn from the movie A Lion in Winter in which she plays Eleanor of Aquitaine.

  • that's my take on it...

  • Eleanor of Aquacade!

  • It's spelled Bette.

  • it really is!!!!!!! i love both of them

  • Which sketch is the scene at 6:30 from?

  • all three are absolutely great! awesome vid!
