I've seen Brett Garsed, Al Dimeola, Shawn Lane, Frank Gambale, Yngwie live and this guy does'nt compare. I enjoy self indulgent guitar playing but you have to seperate yourself from the crowd.

Vinnie, Becker and Macalpine (from what I've seen) lack melody.. what I seen 'em play is fluid.. they're skillful... all these guys are skillful, but there is something lacking in the timing, and the changes... One note can grasp you... a thousand notes can bore you..
