I remember dancing to this song in a living room saturated, shoulder-to-shoulder with high schoolers and the guy that I was dancing with, that following Monday, asked me to what song we had danced (referring to High Energy) and I told him that I didn't know, but I knew that he was referring to this one, for sure. It wasn't until I was in my mid-30's that I was able to pin-point it, buy the CD and, later, find it on YouTube. Thank you for the dance experience to your music, Evelyn!

It's a great song, but a remake would have to sound much, much different. They don't make em like this anymore, but the taste of today is not like this anymore.

This song is my all time favourite, now since 26 years. Evelyn is a goddess and the song is immortal and part of the music history. I can't tell you, how much this song has influenced me.

I was working for club in Boca Raton Florida back in the 90's and was their video guy, the club had disco night and I had the chance to video tape Evelyn and she was very nice to sign a cd I had with this song on it. she was very down to earth just very nice person, thank you for the music I DJ and still play Hight Energy.
