I Love this episode. One of my fave's. I love Steven Weber's attitude in this scene. It's perfect. They both act like real siblings who fight. Reminds me of me and my older sis.
I'm glad they gave Joe a few jokes during the dramatic parent scene.
In the episode "Mother Wore Stripes" he didn't have one punch line the entire episode.
I also love that they didn't try to explain what Joe's dad was. They didn't say he was a hallucination or a ghost or something silly like that...he was just there.
I never thought about it before, but there is a fairly strong resemblance between Don Murray and Tim Daly. I also thought there was a good resemblance between Barbara Babcock (who played the boys' mom) between her and Steven Weber.
Wings was such a great show so many great actors I miss this show its too bad with all this terrible reality tv you dont get great shows like this anymore it seems like its a dying art nowadays its a damn shame. Thanks for posting Wings its brought back so many great memories I loved this show
Damn you know till this day this scene still gets to me it will always be one of my favorites from Wings. Ive had so many family members that I was so close with pass away I can relate so much to message Joes dad gives him because its true once your loved ones are gone their really is nothing you can do but miss them.
Poor Joe. No wonder he is such a serious person. He had to grow up so fast after his mother left. I loved the scene with the father. His message, once a person is gone, all you can do is miss them so hold on to them, if you love them b/c once their gone their gone. I love Wings b/c not only is it super funny but it also was very nostalgic at times.
I also Love calling them The Big Booty Boys. Just like me and my sis, they have big Butts. Sexy lol

"Hey those things help."
"You want money don't you?"

I never thought Joe was too serious but I always thought that Brian was too childish. Joe was a normal adult-I think
