I found yogurt too messy and otc creams stopped working. I bought a natural product online from england called proskin candida. It is by mama nature and although i had to wait a couple of weeks for it to arrive it was well worth the wait. After 8 years of constant yeast infection this cleared it up completely within two weeks. That was six months ago and i still use it a couple of times a week JUST IN CASE. I spray it on then spread it with cotton pads. A few of my friends have started using it

True, I used the yogurt remedy and it made it worse, I also before in the past used white vinegar soak, and would use it directly, it burns a little bit, and will itch for the little while but soon goes away. Try soaking in Epsom salt bath for 20-30 mins, and it relieves the itching. I will go on to try the honey remedy to see what will happen, hopefully it will get rid of it.

im trying the honey remedy hope it works coz sometimes i scratch it so much it gets wounds all over it.... i thought the itch is caused by the hair growing (coz i shave) but i have all the symptoms i hate it so much!!!!

i came off eating bread and limit my sugar, but was ill and took antibotics, now bak to square one !! how can I get rid of this and bring my gut bak to normal? use garlic? yoghurt what?these things help externally how about your gut?

yeah it is true, that girsl are now usually having yeast infection, like my friend liza, she had a yeast infection but because of finding the best way on how to get rid of it! i told her that she should go to the doctor, but she doesn't have enough earnings for her medical. If you take I cup of warm water a teaspoon of baking soda and like 5 drops of tea tree oil an stir it up. And self douch with it. Or take a cotton ball and wipe it down there it gets rid o it quick! It also feels cool and tingly cuz of the tea tree oil. So the burning and itching is relieved! (:

@Talisa20 A yogurt that doesn't have anything artificial in it. No sugars and no fruit. It should say 'all natural' and 'live cultures' on the label. Two good name brands are Dannon and Yoplait.

Be careful with using home remedies like yogurt. Yeast mutates regularly and it can build immunity to yogurt and start feeding off of the lactose in the yogurt so that you end up feeding the infection instead of killing it. This happened to me, it sucked.

I have an advanced yeast infection that is immune to most over the counter medicines and remedies. The only things that I have found helpful are Mashed up garlic cloves and douching with hydrogen peroxide.
