  • Buy the brush-picks. And fish out the plaque at least once a week between teeth. Plus use the tooth-pick side to dislodge calculus. Bloody blobs and flecks are the bad stuff. Get rid of that and you are home free.

  • Please gimme your advise,

I am so scared I have had Periodontal problems and my dentist cleaned out all of my teeth I listen to his advise and done all this brushed my teeth correct etc...

I am only 19 and a female I at starting to get depressed and I am scared of losing my teeth, Also my grandad had this when he was 21 and lost all of his teeth please give help

  • Wow, 19. You most likely have genetics that cause you to be VERY prone. I'm 32 and have been diagnosed myself. I'm going to have the cleaning done and will need a couple bone implants to fill the pockets.

There really isn't much you can do but keep clean and visit the dentist every 6 months for a check up. If you stay on top of it, you should be safe for many years.

Eat right, stay healthy and take some vitamins to help your body keep fighting infection and bone loss. Good luck to you.
