These are racing skifffs and they were set up to porpoise, the theory being if the hull is not in the water it's not causing drag. This one does not usually bounce as much as it does in the video, probably due to the extra weight of the passenger.

Probably needs a bit of adjustment on the trim plate, if it has one.

Probably coz all the weight is at the back thats usually what happens

the water looks pretty flat. why is it porpoising like that? Is there a hump in the bottom?
