such gentle, innocent creatures. spare a thought for the billions of harmless animals who spend their short lives inside a stinking factory farm because of some humans' selfishness...
Thank you for your comment, I hear you loud & clear. All animals should be free to be what they are without impediment. What we owe them is the courtesy of our respect. These particular doves fly over the roof to my ledge, where I feed them thistle & millet. They've learned to trust me (marginally) & so far, every year, their children learn the same. I can tell which doves were born here when I go to put seed out, because those are the ones that watch me with anticipation instead of fleeing.
