I think it isn't because of the engine's power, is the way it is mounted, is called "Thrust Vectoring".

love rc powers vids but come on guys,pushers, boring, and not only boring but seeing that huge prop hanging off the back just looks so wrong.EDFs have come so far over the last few years that make them every bit as fun and versatile as any pusher and you can do scale if you choose also.

the reason they do pushes on their jets is that a prop has more acceleration than an EDF

not true at all. few years back sure but now days no way. my f-22 weighs in at about 17lbs and goes vert all day long with no prob and i routinely out perform my propped buddies. the tech has come to far for that to matter anymore. sure,if u don't know what ur doing and choose a bad set up,you'll get bad performance,but if u know what ur doing,no way.only difference is a slight cost hike on EDFs.really it comes down to pushers just being simpler and slightly cheaper to get into than edfs,period.

i thing that the main difference is that of the speed and acceleration EDFs got the speed from that massive bite and high kv motor but the prop has the accel or like the ability to preform static thrust wise and yeah it has to be cheap because dave and the rest of his crew have to sell those plans; they need to build cheap

i think you need to go research edf jets better and not compare to those crappy little nitro and various other dinky little edf on the market right now. like i said in prior comment. my f-22 is 17lbs and will go vert right off the ground literally. my kid also flys an f-22 that weighs about 5lbs with a 74mm edf on a 60amp esc and can fly circles around these things.

Awesome plane. Only one suggestion, maybe put a landing gear on your airplanes and they may last a little bit longer because it looks like there was a little too much of an abrupt force for the airplane to absorb straight into the material and may damage the plane slightly eventually and maybe a landing gear would help absorb the shock.I don't know, I am only 13 years old.

Hi, what do you think about my idea:

3 servos; one for moving the pusher motor up and down (elevator) and 2 servos for roll, but the roll flaps are the elevator flaps, because there are no elevator flaps, just the motor.

So the ailerons are next to the motor (pusherprop)

Hmmm - undone by your own suggestion... "Thrust vectoring is the ability of an aircraft or other vehicle to direct the thrust from its main engine(s) in a direction other than parallel to the vehicle's longitudinal axis." Which is exactly what is going on here, dumbass. The fact it is a prop makes no difference whatsoever - thrust is thrust no matter how it's generated, and the V22 Osprey uses exactly the same principle with a prop on each end of the wing.
