@TheWhiteBuster the abuse by CAS workers to Aboriginal families is just as, if not more rampant than to 'white' families. This isn't Karma, it's a complete abuse of power that goes well beyond the boundaries of race, class, and gender.
I have fought for parent's right in Ontario for 7 years and know first hand the corruption within CAS. Its a patethic system run like a corporation where the bottom line is money, at the expence of families torn apart
never talk or deal with CAS with out them having a court order, they have NO powers with out it, if they have a court order get a lawyer, people need to know their rights and expose CAS for what they are, ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY TO THEM
The system is so currupt that even a youth can use CAS's lack professionalism and questionable conduct against them, I have seen things like false charges being placed on youth who were innocent but did not comply with rules or AWOLed but If they get you arrested and you get relesed to there custody, you have to go into their custody, then when you step out of line the charge you with violating bail conditions like "Fail to abide by the rules of the house in wich you reside.
They took a bond from a mother and child and its all because she didn't want to go to school cause of being bullied :( Then they had the school board involved and she told lies to facs and they believe the first thing that they hear so they took her from me my life, my daughter Ive been a wreak since they took her :( telling me they will have her call which my daughter hasn't :( court papers saying lies after lies after lies I can't believe it :( I HATE FACS SO MUCH!

I'm in Hamilton where they are known as CAS (among other *choice* names many ppl have for those self-righteous assholes!) I didn't even HARM my child, NOTHING and she's gone!! My little girl was taken from me suddenly from FACS from her school just this past wed, I freaked out asking them to hand my daughter back and they told me they couldn't cause they had a warrent to take her from me :( they showed me no warrent all they could say calm down your child doesn't need to see you acting like this :( I told them my daughter should see me like this cause for her toknow what they are doing. I haven't stopped crying since they took her from me :( the lies that they said!!

I dont get the video but I dont like CAS at all. I met a woman yesterday who thought she could make a difference by joining cas. I think its so offensive.
see my son has a mental illness that's not well controlled so they want to stay involved to make sure he goes to his appointments,not that he never has missed any since they did check that! I asked what services that they can help us with, her repy" I can just stop by unannounced" i kepted asking what can she do,as my son NEEDS help, I've told then every single time they have came out that he's a danger to himself and others, yet I get no help, no ideas even.

I mean of course they come and go... not this time( this time we got called on because I was yelling at him because he was lighting fires near my gas main out side! no profanities/put downs used though),

The hubris of CAS is the delusion that having power to "re-manage" our children automatically bestows upon them God-like wisdom to correctly do so. They aren't God like people, they are just sshlubs like anyone. And their judgement is clouded with their foolish sanctimony & overweaning sense of institutional power.
Cas took my 2 older children from me..... I have been fighting for them since 05 and ... I didn't even do nothing wrong... I just had a 3rd child and move to alberta and cas out here said their is not one reason my kids should have been tookend and they have no worry's and closed the file... I just need to get my other 2 home now.
The people who have gone through this and are now adults need to articulate their stories. If you are in a place to support any of them then do so because the system needs to make sure they don't succeed unless they approve of being taken away from their parents. Those people also have the names of the people who did this to them.

Cas took my 2 older children from me..... I have been fighting for them since 05 and ... I didn't even do nothing wrong... I just had a 3rd child and move to alberta and cas out here said their is not one reason my kids should have been tookend and they have no worry's and closed the file... I just need to get my other 2 home now.
