Good strategy to catch boosters, step1: before you choose your class hit the B button or if your on Ps3 it's circle or square im not sure.

Step 2: spectate people with tacticle insertions. if there are 2 people with them, see where they go

Step 3: KILL THEM

To me, killing boosters is like killing a camper who isn't smart enough to camp elsewhere. If you kept coming back to the same location, or you camped in another well-known camped location, that's your fault.
