There is something about the sound of bagpipes that touches the soul. Well, that's the effect it has on this sensitive old soul, at least. Oh, and did I say that I absolutely LOVE Scotland, too? I currently live in London, and am looking to move to Scotland within the next year.......Can't wait.....
this make music makes me think were the world went wrong......... i can see honnist hard ass troops behind this, mind u i am aussie, we have some mad troops to :)
I'm really bad at showing emotions, and I managed to make it nearly all the way through my grandpa's funeral without crying, until at the military ceremony, when they played Amazing Grace on the bagpipes. My grandpa always enjoyed bagpipe music, and I do too. It's absolutely beautiful, and is one of the most emotionally expressive forms of music.
I have searched my family, im half Scottish, Thanks dad, but my tree goes back to Wallace and Robrt the Bruce, my family fought for Scotland. from the Isle of Islay! RULE SCOTLA|ND! Mclochlans!!
the music is simply amazing. it's so much diffrent from the music i listen to on a daly bassis but once a week i listen to this masterpice to relax and calm down, and i realize what pure beauty is. there is no music like it wich has the same gigantic amount of beauty!!!
thumb this up if you think the same about this beautiful music!!
@Gizmologist09 Check out a practice chanter, it's the instrument you would start with to learn the pipes. Sounds like playing the pipes with no bag or drone.
In answer to @95jjs how many Scots died in the field of battle with English, Irish and Welsh. Know your history. The Scots have een part of Britain since 1701, Act of Union. Live and let live. Just think of all the dead. History does not count the dead. Let us live together as people and give up this me and you problem (I wont swear not the place or time)

@HellAngelsBells It's why William Wallace, priest-turned-general, a man who stood 6-foot-6 and swung about a claymore as tall as he was and who could divorce a knight in full armor from his lower half at the waist in a single blow, was a scotsman. Our badass music.
