Kinda weird if you think about it, all other mammals don't consume dairy after the initial infant phase... idk, me personally i find it odd. Imean, it's the breast milk of another mammal, meant for their young, not us as adults. but meh. w/e. cheese is delicious as is other dairy in my opinion, and yes im american ;)

whilst they dont actively cultivate it, they seem to deliberately drink it.

my experience with animals is that they eat whatever they can based on their physiology.

i would say the dont eat dairy simply due to the fact they have no means to procure it like we do.

Cats eat whatever their owner feeds them because they trust the owner, or, because they know it's food and are starving, by no means would they have ever ate it in the wild. A fair majority of adult cats are lactose intolerant, which to me says something about their genetics telling them to stay away from dairy. :)
