I still don't get how coldplay fans can deny this all they done is increased the tempo and use different instruments, my ears do not deceive me, the tune is exactly the same chords wise, sure chord progressions are reused but they used her actually chord melody and sped it up. Once again my ears do not deceive me, I make music so my ears can pick out how close the 2 songs are with ease. The problem is not the melody, but the harmony, chords and Style. Coldplay committed a great mistake using the same instruments and style as Alizee's song. The had to change the style, not using strings, a differnt beat, and maybe a harder drums, with some guitar distortion, etc.

In my opinion, the Alizee's and ColdPlay´s songs share the same harmonic structure and rithm, though the melodic line and tempo are different. "Home and Dry" song is vaguely similar, the harmonic structure is only suggested by the bass line. If you had the time you would find this same coincidence within many modern pieces of music.

Besides, Alizee is way beyond this issue, is the Farmer/Boutonnat duo who in any case should be concerned.
