please tell me how you taught your dog to play fetch i have a 4 month old golden retriever and she go and get it most of the time but she will not bring it back to me?
im working on training my puppy...how did you get him to learn so quickly any tips? She can sit and lay down and stay...the command "come" isn't working well hahaha
@purebliss87 Hey, thank you for the compliment. I read Charles Jurney's "water dog" and watched a few of his training videos. I taught him "here" because everyone uses the "come" command. I didn't want him running to other dog owners that are trying to call their dog. We started him with food and affection reinforcement. Keep him on a short "lead" and do a few "forced retrieves" which is holding a "bumper" in front of him and telling him to get it. Then go to a very short retrieve on a lead
