I GOT INTO SEPTIC LFESH´S OBSCURE,MYTHOLOGICAL,ANCIENT REIGNS AND DOMINIONS SINCE LATE ´94 WHEN I FIRSTLY LISTENED TO THEIR EXTREME CULT DEBUT ALBUM(MYSTIC PLACES) AND IT QUITE SUFFOCATED ME HEAVILY DUE THEIR BRUTAL VOCALS,UNUSUAL AND HISTORICAL LYRICS,BESIDES AWESOME AND COMPLEX ARRANGEMENTS.MOREOVER I WAS IN TOUCH,BY LETTERS,WITH SEVERAL TRUE BLOODBROTHERS WORLDWIDE AS SOTIRS OF SEPTIC FLESH, THEYS GUNTHER OF ANCIENT RITES(BELGIUM),ISIDOROS OF WRATH OF THE GODS ZINE(GREECE),ROTTING(PORTUGAL).
This song is such an extraordinary input from the band! (ending's creepy as fuck though)
This is partially also why I've stuck to SF so closely since I started listening to them. Apart from numerous other musicians they've actually succeeded to develop a totally unique style, mixing melody with mystery/mythology and adding to that, really rough metal. They will live forever!
