  • Fantastic sound. And a Goldring to boot!

  • Nice records and equipment! But the videos of playing the records aren't in focus... things in the background are. I would back a bit to get it focussed... if your camera can't focus on close objects. It's easier for the eyes to watch. Perhaps it's just switching on the 'macro' option on your camera?

  • @bidib Sorry, the camera I have with a video mode is really a stills camera - quite a good Canon one but not really acey pacey for videos. It doesn't even have a little auto focus square so you know what's gonna be in focus! At some point I will invest in one but cashflow is essentially non-existant at the minute and the minute I can afford some leisure purchase I have my eyes on a nice set of speakers!

  • great song.although i thought "i hear you now" from 1980 was far superior.jon anderson's voice is amazing.keep up the good work man....great t.t. and cartridge....long live vinyl ! .......

  • Hey bro, I enjoyed listening to that.

It reminded me of being in your studio.

Look forward to it again some time.

  • Mark, thank you for uploading my favourite song. I hope this song is going to make a comeback and I believe it to be one of the best songs ever produced, thanks to Vangelis' genius and Jon Anderson's haunting voice and lyrics. With the synthesizers available in 1981 it's amazing that Vangelis achieved such a stunning, breathtaking result that still holds up well today. It's a timeless piece, and a great song to dance and listen to with special girls.

  • @revokdaryl1 It was a hit here in the UK too, I seem to remember. It certainly received lots of radio airplay. I was a Radio 1 listener then, so it must have been popular.

  • I have a Jon and Vangelis "Short Stories" LP, Canadian pressing made circa 1981 and distributed by PolyGram. It came included with a free 12" 45 RPM single (that said that it was a promo) with this song on the A-side and "I Hear You Now" on the B-side.

  • I have Opera Sauvage, AUS.

  • @OldMusicOnVinyl1 Please post that edition.

Plus, what version of the BS&T songs you would like to hear? Single or album?

  • @SlimeTron5000 Album.
