@DarkMage978 Nope, that's not why. It's because new writers. Even if they hadn't changed the voice actors I'd imagine the writing would still have been the same. And personally, I don't mind Roger, it was just the writing that sucked. I mean I don't mind any of the Sonic video game actors (though Drummond's my favorite), it's just the writing. And let's face it, Sonic and Tails were big fat morons in Sonic Colors thanks to the writers.

At worst, it was just generic dialogue with a few bad one-liners (as well as ALL of Charmy's lines) and at least one awesome piece of dialogue ("Anytime you want a rematch, just let me know. I'll be waiting.") You're gonna run that risk with a bigger cast. But Colors had a small cast and still blew it; I don't find ANY of the Sonic/Tails writing good. Now Eggman and the henchbots...THAT'S good stuff.

@thesatellite54 True, I respect your opinion but I just found the way lots of the lines in Heroes along with the voice acting made it seem very cheesy and stupid mainly with the other teams like Rose and Chaotix to the point I found it almost as bad as Sonic and Tails lines in colors. Eggman, Orbot and Cubot seem to be where the writers were having more fun and honestly most of the cutscenes with Tails and Sonic didn't even matter in most of colors, it didn't change much of the story.

Kidding; I prefer the more serious stories (Sonic Adventure 2). And at a distance, Colors' story is actually pretty neat. The execution of it was... why did Sega hire those writers again? (Also I lied; I liked the serious scenes.)

@thesatellite54 Honestly, I agree with the first part of your comment. It's never good to take Sonic plots seriously, probably the reason I don't favor Sonic Adventure 2 and dislike the plot. The writers get better in Generations as they can sneak in some references really well.

I felt the story fell way short of its potential, and there were quite a few areas where they could make references and they didn't. Generations is my second-favorite 3D Sonic game (behind Adventure 2), but the story was almost absent. At least the writing was actually incredible.
