it can, considering that the TOMY TOMICA Range has the same gauge as the Wooden Rails on any wooden train set.

i have heeps and heeps of thomas tomica tomy stuff and in my big collection i have the steam along thomas. he makes more steam than this one. and you fill him up from the water tower into a hole on his water tank. i have a quistion. how do you fill this one up?

Why'd they make the coal loader/water tower combo look just like the Thomas one? That's TOMY's case of out-of-ideas I guess.

this set came out a couple of years ago... before the Thomas one... and now the Thomas has the real working water tower instead

Well Japan is the TOMY central of the world. They

already did a Thomas Steam Set with this one. it was eather the same year or the year after. but that one isnt Mettalic and I think they dont have the water tower. they get the same one like the one in this vid. and that Thomas talks too!
