  • what album is this on ? He was gifted ... Seems the talent that needs to be heard , leaves us early. plus he's a south-paw,that likes wiskey, his friends f'ing & fightin,

    and of course breakin-outta-yale ..

  • Damn, Phil with a Rick? Awesome!

  • Another great song of theirs that never got the air play and most people have never heard . Always one of my favorites .

  • such a great guitar tune

  • best song ever.

  • i love this song the to les paul guitars at the same time makes it sound absolutely mesmerising and beutifull

  • great song,im suprised they left it off there greatest hits dvd this is from the fighting albumn right ???

  • Great song. One of my favorite of theirs. Two Les Pauls on dual lead- sweet!

  • this song is badass!

    love it!!

  • The double harmony solo almost brings a tear to mi eye

  • brian looks like he's about 14....haha.

little did he know lemmie was waiting...

  • yea i know he's only 19 in this video!! crazy good though!!

  • One of the greatest Soft Rock tunes of the 70's. I agree Thin Lizzy was one of the greatest bands. Ageless tunes.

  • This song eerily reminds me of my dear brother who died in prison in '06 after a crazy reaction to his wife cheating on him. He ended his life too soon...and the bitch that put him there lives on...

  • Great song

  • The guitar solo here is different than the version I have. I don't like this one as much.

  • he sang with his hearth..

  • Truly one of Phil's best melodies/lyrics ever. I find it a bit of a shame that he got caught up in that cock rock metal crap towards the end, when he once wrote masterpieces like this.

  • I agree 100%. It's very hard to fault anything Lizzy did between 75 & 79. After that there were moments of brilliance but not as consistent. I really think Brian Robertson & Gary Moore were so vital to Phil and I think that was one of the problems when they were gone by 1980.

  • Not all of it's crap, Thunder & Lightning is in my opinion up there with Jailbreak And Black Rose

  • One of the great rock singers ever, haunting tune!!

  • you guys should hear the john norum cover for this song, It's pretty nice!!!

  • most haunting rock classic ever written

  • if this guy wasn't a class act i've got no taste.catwithoutclaws

  • I love this song and video, but are they playing out of tune? It sounds like they're playing in a different key than on the album. Actually, I kind of like this version better.

  • Love it,one of my faves ,away the Crumlin lads..

  • love this song..wish i was phils wild one..love you phil

  • Love it:D

man i can't find any tabs for this precise song:/

any1 got any ideas where i can find them??

  • Wow music when it actually played on emotions

other than casual sex violence and materialist BS. Always a favorite....

I think I'll fall to pieces if I don't find something else to do.

  • Thx for this song - i love it years and years and years

  • Absolutely the best song ever written and ever sung. I don't think there will ever be another Phil Lynott... he was a one in a million man.. one of the few who broke all boundaries...

  • I love this song With Thin Lizzy!! Why didn´t I start a band in my erly years so I could play and sing this song....but it is not to late yet... ;-)

  • Ofcourse not mate, I've had the same thoughts. I'd love to get back into the guitar so I could play songs like this. Thin Lizzy are the greatest rock band ever!

  • legend song...wat a tuneeee

  • Phil Was such a legend!!!!

  • I remember this one so well! I was dating a ballet teacher at the time and man she was a "wild one"!Noreen this is for you!
