@DackIsBack Roughing up the plastic with a file and sandpaper was the first thing I tried, but it didn't work well, and the plastic bit kept popping out. The plastic piece is also rather small and hard to handle, so I like my solution a little better.

Contact the London Lomography office. If they have them available, they might be able to send you a replacement. As far as I know, you can't purchase replacements.
I would have just sanded down little plastic dongle thing that comes with the camera...

hmm i see the 2 dots on the side of my lense but when i try and twist it off it doesn't seem to be coming off, i don't want to force it and break it

I haven't used the pinhole function of my Diana+ yet, but you won't see me fussing with this slippery piece of plastic! I'll use this device. Clever!
