Hey HorizonProductions, just wanted to say thanks for the awesome tutorial. I recently used your technique to add the final touch to my intro video. Please check it out - it's on my channel, freshly uploaded.
It wouldn't have turned out nearly as well if it weren't for your idea and technique. I credited you in the description - hope that's satisfactory. Thanks a million my friend!
good work, i like it. If you are interested in more motion pictures you can find a mystical animation from a solar eclipse to a sunset above the sea on my account. I would appreciate if you visit.
@talmosko1 well the only difference with a still image and video with this technique is that you would have to motion track the reflection to wherever you wanted it, this video doesn't go into that because it's just about how to create the effect.
First, Cool tutorial. Second, I think you should have touched on how to add some falloff to the effect as it reaches the top of the fence for some more realism. how would you go about this? I used a ramp in a new solid and then used that as a Luma track matte, but is there a better way?

@HorizonProductions92 of course, i just think that you should show it in motion so we can tell if it's worth the effort.

@talmosko1 I'll try and make that our next video, a demonstration of it in a live action video.

@thedarkmatterplanet nope, to be honest, if I had thought of adding falloff, that's exactly the way I would have done it anyway :)
