i got an 09 R6 and i was looking at the graves velocity stack but i was wondering if they really make a big difference for the money. i already got the full graves carbon system power commander and smog block off kit. let me no what i should do

@pjb84 people putting up there vids or comparing dyno run numbers are missing ONE EXTREMELY important thing- what kind of Dyno was it. I could say my bike(not literally) is pulling +15hp on yours just simply cause its a rolling inertia dyno and yours wasnt!
Nice joke mate unless you have something done to the engine. My modded R1'03 (stock engine, full Micron Serpent, PC3, AIS and EXUP removal, velocity stacks, K&N and more) put 149,1 RWHP at the dyno. I dont remember the torque but it smoked others R1'04-07 in first 3 gears.. I sold the bike in March and bought moded R1'07 RN20/4c8 i.e. with full Acropovic Evo system and it accelerates worse than my ex-RN09..
The smoke at the end tells a story of bad news. Smoke at high revs is never good news. I had this model R1 i never really gelled with it,used to shake it bars over the slightest thing under hard acceleration.
i have an 03 r1 le....just has a pc3,kn filter,2brothers slip on and custom tune pushin 135rwhp.....just dont know if its worth dumpin extra money only to gain a few more horses... sweet bike though man.
I ride a 954, and some people criticize them for their low horse numbers (133hp), but they don't understand that 77ft lbs of low end torque is a greater asset coming out of corners and in the quarter mile. I think top end power is overrated, especially, because you're so limited in normal driving conditions. If you can pull lengths on another bike from 0-140, the race is over in my opinion.

They all need steering dampner, dangerously wobbly at high speed under accelaration. Check in one of my videos I did a roll on with 07 R1, my bike had 27.5k. miles more than the 07, that's 27.5k. miles more of straight up sexual harrassment rape miles..., dead even, when it was new I used to tear any new bikes underwear to pieces like there is no tomorrow.
pjb how do you like your bike? And have you raced any gsxr's yet? I'm about to get this bike and I have a bunch of friends who have gsxr's, so I'm just wondering which is faster
I actually sold the bike in October. I loved it. Tons of power and tourque. As far as beating the gixxers it all depends on if the bikes are stock. Gixxers are a little bit faster stock but if you mod it like man than you should smoke them.
No matter what, all liter bikes are fast. So you can lose either way. The R1 is sexier though.

I actually sold the bike in October. I loved it. Tons of power and tourque. As far as beating the gixxers it all depends on if the bikes are stock. Gixxers are a little bit faster stock but if you mod it like man than you should smoke them.
No matter what, all liter bikes are fast. So you can lose either way. The R1 is sexier though.
