@420Guitar420 Honestly, as far as pop music goes, Savage Garden were very good at what they did and the singer had an amazing voice (still does). they sold 25 million records between 2 albums so they did something right. I think you should have included Powderfinger, Diesel, Tim Minchin, INXS, Cold Chisel, Crowded House (I know they're NZ but whatevs) and maybe Motor Ace in the list of good Australian bands and added the Bee Gees to the F*** pile. And yeah Jet can suck dick.

I'm really loving the sound us Aussie's are getting lately with bands like this. Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus, Birds Of Tokyo and others. I can hear a lot of influences from other unique bands too. Stuff like Tool (A LOT), Mastodon, Pain of Salvation, Perfect Circle, Serj Tankian, The Gathering and others. I'm just loving it :).
