i love mariah, but she has nodules on her vocal cords, little growths that singers get, which effects her vocal range, her higher register by the sounds of things not sure though, but this is a funeral so sounds like she has a bit of sadness in her voice too!!!! her voice improves a lot from the middle

Why did Michael's dad have to give him such an unhealthy childhood? Even as a pop star it's been hard for him especially for kids commenting him for the way he looks. R.I.P MJ

I can't imagine what his family and friends are going thru. I give the performers a lot of credit because I'm not sure I could have sang for MJ that day either. I'm still so heartbroken! I'm watching the 30th anniversary special for MJ as I write this! I Love you so much Michael!!!
Mariah is one of the few people who sounds just as good live as she does in the studio. Voice of an angel :)

when i first hear her perform that song, i really didn't hear anything wrong with her voice that day, nor did i hear her crack.
I think she still sings her best, and perfectly sings every performances!
