They did races like this at Hickory where the Busch series would run their 300 lap race and another racing division would race there on the same day with the same title sponsor for the race.
So, the Busch Series ran the Mountain Dew 300 and another series, like Late Models or Legends, would run the Mountain Dew 200 (or two other divisions ran Mountain Dew 100), totalling the whole race day to be simply called the Mountain Dew 500
