It did the same for me but i found a way round it.

Open the Episode 1 file, open the "episodic" file, then "cfg", then DELETE the "chapter1".

I'm afraid this meens you will not be able to play the first chapter but that's the only way i found to go round the bug.

Be aware two files are downloaders meaning they downloads viruses off the internet these files are called Ep1.exe, and Ep2.exe so delete those as soon as possible. Thank you.
