Those of us who grew up on sugar plantations on the Big Island and all of Hawaii should pay homage to Mr. Goto. His bravery resulted in improving the lives of me and my 8 siblings and I'm sure all of our friends and families. Thank you Ms. Iwasaki, Mr. Miller and the Bishop Museum for preserving Katsu Goto's legacy and bringing this story to the masses.
