although "eels" are not the most popular rock band today, i still believe that E is the ONLY artist of my generation (i'm now 18 years old) whose music has the artistic potential to survive some generations after his death; just as Elvis' and Lennon's music did!

I just went outside to get something to drink and the bright moonlight surprised me.. it just gave me this feeling of "everythings gonna be alright".. and then i came home, turned on the radio and this song came.. thanks god
Another one of those songs that speaks to the soul. It's depressing, but it sums up perfectly how I feel most days. That same feeling of loneliness, even when you are in a room full of people. The sense of watching everyone that you know going about living their life's and you just being stuck in a rut, watching your life pass you by, over analyzing and daydreaming your days away in reclusive solitude......

But you´ve got to change this feeling; you are living your life, and you have to be happy about all you have got (family, friends, health tec...)
I tell you, you don´t need to feel bad for noyhing, just be grateful an try to live the most enjoyable, funny and happy experiences, this is what matters in the end.
E just changes a few words here and there and recycles the same 4 songs over and over again. When he comes up with some new ideas I'll buy the CD. Why should I get this when I have these songs several times already.
I love it when E keeps things simple i.e. just him playing acoustic guitar and Harmonica and then he adds layers over it in recording.Great lyrics and melody.
