1: It's a religious symbol throughout Asia that the Nazis co-opted. It's like people banned the Cross because some loudmouth politician starts a genocidal war with it as his party's rallying symbol.

2: Freedom of speech, which is a tenement of all modern democracies.

3: It's not even called a Swastika in most cultures, for example the maps showing locations of Japanese temples are covered in Manji.

The cold war was due to hostilities based on belief, it would have happened no matter what. Fascism vs Capitalism... or Communism vs Capitalism. Before Hitler was even elected, millions had starved to death in the Ukraine, because Stalin sold food for militarization. Stalin also orchestrated the Chinese civil war with his puppet Mao. Mao then went on to kill 40+ million more of his own in peacetime "Cultural revolution".

@EuroAmericanReich Funny thing is, the Communist regime in the USSR lasted until 1990. Long after the second world war was over, and if you rely on those statistics, you must also consider those killed in wars. Vietnam, Korea and Iraq. As well as obviously Operation Barbarossa in WWII.

You cannot deny however, that as time passes... the numbers get lower and lower.
