do i have to plug in my dvd drive for those to pop up?

@dbzking18 no you cant flash it with out the connectivity kit because this is a lite on drive. make sure your serching up your right drive

can't u just power the drive using the Xbox 360? I dont think the CK3 is necessary... Also, i have another question: I have an external SATA port, so i dont have to buy that VIASATA chipset thingy right?

No need for the probe? Does the pushing in and out of the tray substitute the need for the probe? Never seen it done like this.

Hey there, I dont have the CK3 pro. What do you suggest is the best way to turn the drive on and off. Also I just wanted to know what was power cycling and how to do it.

I have everything hooked up and when i go to push L083info then it says power the tray on with it half open i did that i hit ok.then i pull the drive all the way out and hit ok then it says L083info extraction failed. am i doing something wrong.plz help me

@e13ment03 im definitely not a pro but i think i got the same thing first two time i tried but at third i worked fine i think problem is that you dont get it in the right "half way in mode" also called vendor mode i think. so try again and keep in mind that you are about to fool the drive that it is all the way in but its not.
