Hmm, so what is the official way then?? Damm, I really wish this sport had some standard rules...I looked at the Backyard 9 wicket rules on some croquet web site, and man, does it have a lot of options you can play by. This game can become particularily lame but make for great debate if you play it a way differently than a way your friend down the street might, or in most cases, across the Atlantic.

I don't know where the expert village is but here in Ireland everyone swings through the legs with full force and professional accuracy!!! Oddly, I have been using the side of the mallet this whole time so thanks for straightening me out on that. Never talk about golf, baseball or softball when you are discussing the only true sport. Don't make me come there and show you jump shots that will make your awesome sunglasses fall off.
