And I think people need to realize that police brutality is is a universal problem in our society, not just a racial problem. Sure minorities get fucked with more, but skinny white guys who don't look like their daddies are lawyers get fucked with too.

I think its time we demand a higher standard from our public safety officers. It seems that they have forgotten what their role in society is.

I'm about that age. Probably he lost his cool somewhat. What we have here is a cool losing faceoff and contest. At least i know that i got better coolness than a Big Time Harvard Super Prof. Sumthin like that. Sometimes you just have to make a big hoo hah about something. This was one of those times! ...How did Gates act? I'm sure he acted like any other cranky cane welding American Senior Citizen whose on his own property and has just been through an ordeal. I'm sure along with his insults were statements like "back in my day bread was a nickel" and complaints about young people having no respect. Bottomline, Gates (who i'm not a fan of) was on his property and produced ID. Any cranky old white republican probably would've behaved the same way.
