Brilliant... He has the concept of the future. Simplify. The deployment of these hospital beds in reaction to a disaster would be the obvious choice, especially if they pass U.S. OSHA standards. Developing countries Health Care Systems will demand higher quality, but it will be incremental. I like the focused approach and the supporting evidence. Great job.

appreciate your intentions but coming from Indian healthcare, i feel this is a zero utility concept. First, in 95% of the cases, a patient has an attendant/relative with him, who almost always bring the head end of the bed up or down. The only places where I have seen nurses do this work is in so called 5 star hospitals, where the average patient is richer than an average american.

And really, they are a no pain light exercise for even for a malnourished individual : )

Very authentic presentation. Wish you much success. How about a venture in part time, high quality adult education in India particularly for the less fortunate in India. Adult education particularly for women will yield good results in a short period of time compared to traditional K through 12 education for children.
