Just finished watching Passenger 57. I found it disturbing that they decided to have a fireworks show that night, considering a clown was murdered under the big top, and that other guy fell off the Ferris Wheel.
Ugh, this is the way music should sound today! Just gets under your ribs and makes you wanna jump out of your seat! Norman Brown, Boyz II Men AND Prince should make an album!
Now THAT'S how you give props to a legendary genius - by doing a cover of THEIR song with THEM in it, concocting one helluva new formula by blending in modern smooth jazzaliciousness, adding a pinch of youthful grooviness & BLOWING THAT B**** UP!!! That ish HAD to be fun for them to do ...
Aw, sookie-sookie now ... Boys II Men on background vocals, Norman Brown layin' down jizztasticness & Sir Steveland Morris w/a harmonica solo that makes me shiver w/happy tears each & every time I hear it. This is what is referred to in the inner sect as a goo-ole, bona-fide, get-down-with-the-muthaf******-get-down JAM SESSION!!! Musical perfection, peoples ...
Totally love this tune sooooooooooooo.... Wes on Pass.57 and that stunning girl... but for me... the bass, the guitar, the harmonica...keys.. omg awesome playing on a fast moving track.... just superb......
Norman's always off the chain! This guy is a serious muthafoya. I dig this cat and will forever. Real amazing. All the waydown to it. Thanks, Norm. Many Blessings to ya'. B.
LOL, Dakers11 !! I was thinking the same thing ! It struck me as though hearing that song for the very first time. That movie gave this song a whole 'nother feel. It was an extremely good choice to use it.
This proves that good music can be utilized for ever more enjoyment. Too high in its original form, is still uplifting, and it's good to know that even in future renditions, it can be as enjoyable.

It's true, too.; I had people even message me & ask "What's 'Passenger 57' got to do with this song?" & so-on like that.
tthomaselli2 1 month ago
@tthomaselli2 I was being sarcastic but yes, Passenger 57 is not a well-remembered movie. Great though!

I remembered my favorite station 98.5 breeze fm (Now much commercial "good fm")
Used to open such a chilled music like these on late night show when it about
12:00AM-5:30AM
I remembered wake up very early or stay very late listen to this kind of music!
Those are the good old days!
Imagine listen to this song on my fav radio station at 3:00AM in the cozy little
bedroom and outside it raining with little lightning lights up my dark bedroom
time to time!
RIP 98.5 breeze fm.
