@Thelaxking96 NOy while taking the video. You can change the frames before but not during the video.

@Thelaxking96 I dont know about the L100 but the P100 and P500 can change the frame rate. From 15fps to 240fps.

You don't have to say, but where are you at that the air is so clear? I'm in NE Ohio and even on a clear night the stupid plane trails and pollution make my vids misty. Anyway, very cool to see the craters so well definied. I filmed the other night when it was the largest but didn't get nearly as good of quality due to the sky conditions. I need to get away from the city!!

@brown55061 The Camera does better shooting the moon when there is some light out. Try to get some shots when the moon is out in the evening before the sun sets fully. You only have a couple of days a month to get that type of shot. Thanks for watching.

@Mahigak On the directional thumb pad hit the right arrow. This will bring up the ISO settings. Reduce it all the way to -2. This will allow for viewing the moon without it looking like a light bulb. I play with the ISO settings on the p100 all the time (you will be amazed how much better a picture can look adjusted correctly). If you do not have the ISO set to automatic adjust it will allways stay at factory 0. Thanks for the comment.

@TheWhiteAndBlue It was on digital and optical zoom. @ 26 optical zoom I can get the moon to fill the screen. Everything where the moon is bigger than the screen is digital zoom.

I just got my p100 today and tried it out. This is really cool and exciting when you try it out! Before I had this camera I had a shitty Fiji film one and thought I should upgrade. If your the kind of person like me who likes to take good quality pictures but not drain your wallet, this is the camera for you. No regrets whatsoever. P100 all the way!

@thamernz Before you take the video or the picture of the Moon hit right on the directional button and reduce the ISO to -2. That should get you a great pic or video of the moon. Hope that helped.

@JFMarcos206 Great camera. I have 7 cameras total and some are better for pictures, but the P100 is the best point and shoot for video by far. The pictures are good if you play with the settings a little. Thanks for the comment and subscribe.

Which one should I go for. Canon is a lil expensive. I am more interested in better picture quality. I hope to get your reply soon because in next 2 or 3 days I have to go with my dad to buy a camera.

@fidodido411 Hi, i was in the same situation as you are right now. I finally went with the canon but i was disappointed with the picture quality. So i'm considering returning that and getting this one i don't know much about this one though.

@Mahigak The P100 is great. The only down side is dark situation video's. You cannot use the flash when taking a video. With such a large amount of zoom available get a tri pod, the anti shake will not do eneough with such long zoom.

@fincloser1230 Thank you! my biggest concern is the indoor pictures. with canon sx30is i got horrible pictures. even worse than the ones my cell phone takes. So do you think the indoor picture quality is good in this camera? thanks again:)

@Mahigak The P100 does a great job for pictures both indoors and out, for a point and shoot camera. The P100 should do much better than the SX30IS it would compare to the G11 Cannon. I like the simplicity of the P100 and the ability to change settings like ISO and saturation. I believe the P100 is the best non DSLR camera on the market.

@omix Yes I love it. It does not take the best pictures for for the money, but by far the best quality for ease of use and versatility. I use it way more than my dslr Nikon.
