I have several friends who are known for breaking into song spontaniously and sound fantastic with no microphone in sight! These guys didn't "do good", they suck. Period. And the fact that they are "baked as hell" is just an excuse for doing a really, really bad job. You don't think NB is baked or drunk when they perform.... they are, and they still sound great. Get over yourself.
