A cop that cant tell the difference between a tazer and handgun has no business being a cop. Also being surrounded by noisy people does not give the right to kill. I dont give a shit if they refused commands. The cops work for the people not the other way around. Also its clear in the video that the cops were not man handled by the crowd or even interfered with other than loud commotion.

The bottom line is this, no matter the circumstances the cop fucked up.

@defiythelie I agree he cop fucked up. I'll go one further and say it was criminally negligent and absolutely he deserves prison time. But it is a proven fact, not some baseless story that he intended to and thought he was deploying, his taser. There is plenty of proof of his intention, and nothing to suggest otherwise other than ignorance and hatred of police. I can understand this jump to a conclusion since there are plenty of abuses, and even police murders. This just wasn't one of them.

He was surrounded by cops who were surrounded by dozens of increasingly hostile people on the train 8-9 people on the platform who encroached on officers and refused their commands (three of whom assaulted officers). Resisting does not warrant murder, but if you think that assaulting 2 officers, refusing their commands, and refusing to give up your hands is not hazardous to your health, you need some form of protective helmet.

thank you for your this video. yeah, some people are trying to make non-sense about Grant not being a perfect guy...well, it really doesn't matter if he was or not. The issue is that if he can be brutally murdered like that with impunity by cops then it can happen to ANY OF US and no one's family will have ANY justice ever. In all honesty, the cop was wrong. I'm white, from Cali. While I can see the accidental aspect of it, meaning it stands to reason that he isn't insane and therefore probably didn't intend to shoot him there in front of everyone, he definitely did what was in question, and broke the law. Maybe a lesser murder charge, or manslaughter, but then I'd have to know the requirements of each to differentiate. I don't think it was intentional, butit definitely was criminal.
