  • 2 questions:

1, Does this bike have a break lever parking brake or is it only a transmission parking break?

2, Would u get this quad or would u get the Arctic Cat 1000 touring ?

  • @plasticMD007

    1. The brake lever also works as a parking brake.

    2. This one - but only if you need (or want) a 2-seat ATV.

  • @ATVTVCOM Ok, thanks for reply. Is there something wrong with the arctic cat? Is it just not as good as the polaris? Thanks

  • @plasticMD007 Not as good - in our opinion. Not as comfortable nor as quite. We do like the 4wd system better, and the brakes.

  • We bought a 2011 850 touring and a 2012 800 rzr in July and we love them!

  • do a review on one of those can am mud boggers

  • @Modded25 If we only liked mud ;-)

  • Just wish you could get your hands on a CAN-AM OUTLANDER MAX and compare these two machines.

  • @plummcrazy58 Our last Can Am Outlander Max was an '09 model. At that time we preferred it to the Touring, but now I think the tables have turned...

  • Dont send it back , just send it to me and i will use it for 10 or so years and if i like it i will buy it.

  • @aux1z11 Danged! Too late! It already went back.......

  • @ATVTVCOM Dang it ! Hey do you know if they are going to come out with a 2012 Polaris 850 X2 , They had one last year and all i see so far for 2012 is a 550 X2 let me know if you know anything, Thanks.

  • @aux1z11 Sorry, I think that's all they're gonna have.....

  • Ever Use Swamp Lite Tires??

  • @Morpheen999 Nope....

  • I purchased a 2011 550XP because of the ergonomics and ride............boy did I make a mistake. I am familiar with Honda and Yamaha engineering, Polaris doesn't even come close. Wire harness is a zip tie and plastic loom nightmare, suspension bushings are absolute junk and there was a huge clunk in rear end whenever I shifted gears. Here's my long term review: Great ride, very poor build quality. Stick to Yamaha, Honda or Suzuki becaue Polaris has a long way to go.

  • my dad has this atv and yes i agree the power steerin is to powerfull but thats because its designed to be used with the weight of 2 people all in all i love the quad but it deffenetyl has room for improvement

  • my dads Polaris sportsmen 600 has 3 breaks to!

  • You sir have my dream job. Ever since i was a little kid, ive always wanted to be a ATV/snowmobile test rider. Any advice on how to persue this type of work?

  • @blaayydz It's not a short answer, and something that would be better put on an email through our website. Schooling (So you can write well), engineering (so you have a leg up on understanding how things work), and hands-on experience (There's no substitute for experience on how air pressure affects tires, or camber and caster effect steering, as well as a bunch of other items that affect how and ATV or UTV handles.)

  • its nice but i go yamaha all the way

  • @SUPERSPARTA41 If only they had a long wheelbase (or 2-seat) ATV.

  • @ATVTVCOM i agree but i would not be surprised if one comes down the tubes in the next couple years

  • @SUPERSPARTA41 Their answer - NEVER(!) - That's what the Rhino is for...

  • I wanna own one of these so bad! I love them!

  • @Perfect5Recurve They are incredible machines - that's for sure!

  • @ATVTVCOM are the racks plastic on these polarises

  • @SuperFlyinghobo Yeap!
