  • I first saw Fusion Orchestra in The Aquarius Nightclub in Hastings in 1973. I was totally enthralled by the band, especially, lead vocalist Jill Saward and her incredible talent with flute, keyboard and guitar and her amazing vocal power. I saw the band many time s after that, of course, bought their LP, and continued to follow then in their hypnotic route!!

  • Are there any recordings with guitarist Alan Murphy?

  • I just had an orgasm...

  • Yeah man I was at their gig and a bloke called Mick Kavanagh stole my beer! Never forgotten it...

  • Skeleton In Armour - one of the greatest prog/jazz/rock albums to come out of the UK. And Jill Saward was a talent of note - nice keyboard player, flautist, and what a voice! And a great looking woman, too!

  • I saw Jill Saward and the Fusion Orchestra at the Nowhere club in Bicester back in 74, they were great. And the album was pretty good too. So many great bands played there, most notably Brinsley Schwartz on at least two occasions.

Saw Jill in the newspaper last week. Still looks great...glad shes still playing as she is a handy musician.

  • Janis Joplin in USA, Jill Saward in UK!!!

I really hope to see her fantastic stage someday

  • Tolle Prog-Band aus England. LP von 1973. Haben leider nur eine rausgebracht-aber die hebt sich dick von vielen anderen Progressiv-Platten + Bands ab!!!
