@GreenMusicGirl10 It was performed 2 years ago. The group to look up is The Future Waitstaff of America. They are a fully student run group, they do 1-2 musicals every year, and they are always looking for new members :)
@chrweber89 That's my fault. The actors are miked and coming through just fine, the sound pickup on my camera is just rotten. I was only asked to film this show a few days before it went up, and I didn't have time to see a performance before hand. If I had, I would have either gotten a better microphone, or tied into the theater's sound system.
Voices are great, but choreography resembles a junior high production. I went and saw a highschool summer theatre group perform this last night. Although the vocals aren't as great (what you'd expect from less mature voices) the acting and choreography is exceptional. I'm sure it'll be up on youtube soon :)
about the coreography, it looks like everyone is moving very carefully because there are too many people on a fairly small stage, but everything else is fantastic
I agree with GreenMusicGirl10. The singing is top-notch. And the accompaniment is great too. However, the choreography could use some work. And some tidying up, just so everyone is together. Have you considered using a real piano rather than a keyboard? Overall it's still looking great!!
Oh? What then, is a "real" Catholic? Keep in mind that those catholics who ARE "this crazy and judgmental" will vehemently contest your belief that they aren't "real" Catholics. Are you saying your judgement is better than theirs? :)
I wish that were true, but that's just your opinion. I'm sure those Catholics who do point out flaws in others would say otherwise. They call themselves "real" Catholics, and seem convinced that more moderate catholics are not being true to the faith. And since there is no objective way to settle questions of faith, why then should I trust your definition of Catholic over theirs?
I guess there's no real answer then, if everything is based on opinions. But let me say this: I was born, baptised, and raised a Catholic...I was taught to love everyone no matter what. And yes, in Sunday school I've been taught that homosexuality is a sin and such, but I guess that's just one part of my faith that I can't agree with.
The dancing, and choreography was a little weak, especially because this is supposed to be a fantasy or a dream- so In my opinion it should be as extreme and exxagerated.
yeah i like that you didnt copy the off broadway production too. you actually did it similarly to how we did it. your harmonies were a teeny bit off though.
To everyone commenting on the choreography: It's hard to dance well on a such a small stage, particularly when there's a reasonable number of people.

@gplatina22 You lack the ability to type "Vassar College" into any search engine, and yet you feel qualified to evaluate our choreography?

@maxfagin I am really glad to hear that.

Other than choreography it was good although I would not have had the music as loud because it is hard at times to hear the actors.

It looks like a cheerleader chorographed a scene that doesn't require synchonized choreography.

Everyone has great voices!!! But I'm not loving the choreography. It looks like a good production though! Is this a high school or a college???

College. This is a theater troupe at Vassar College.

You guys have to realise, this is how Peter believes they would act if they knew that he was gay. This is a nightmare he had whilst sleeping in mass.
