A retard gene driven stream of caterwauling, unharmonic guitar screeching more worthy of a transgendered trollop pushed into a gutter after swallowing cum from multiple wayward gentlemen enjoying a night of depraved abandon in seedy establishments on the outskirts of the Shining City on a Hill.
James!! Scuttle your way to me quickly now, man!
Bag that cat Nelly Young tonight. Here's a stout bat. Beat the daylights out of her!
My one and only Neil concert, the Time Fades Away tour, 1973, right after Danny Whitten ODed after Neil fired him. Neil was bummed, the concert was bad, still love him, anyway. Redeeming feature was Linda Ronstadt opened with teased-up hair, and she and her backups went a capella with You're No Good for several minutes.
On the day that she left, he died, but it did not show. Know when you see him, nothing can free him, step aside, open wide...
@brianallancobb Yeah, that was my second time seeing Neil. Once again in February, just a few weeks shy of my 18th birthday. It was at Cincinnati Gardens and the concert went very well, but I know what you mean about D. W..
The recording that got me into Neil and is still my favorite is "Down By The River", from the "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere" album.
I loved the way they mixed it, with Danny coming out of one side, and Neil coming out of the other. By changing the balance you could play with either, which I did, on my 1972 white Telecaster.
This Guy one day will be famous at more then just one planet!
I can listen for years and years and still discover new worlds in his music, i love it so much!!! Love the Boogie-Heart-Pounding in this damned genius classic one... "..long may you run... my old friend,... it's good to see you smile.."
Pre-Corprate bands FB. Back when music meant something.

You know, I just realized that, with that weird voice, Neil was actually pre-punk. Hey, if there's post-punk, there should be pre-, too!

@theladywriter You are a complete idiot.
The Sonics were pre-punk. Any rockabilly band was pre-punk. the Stooges were pre-punk (Iggy was a homo).
Dumbass no-nothing cunt.

My first Neil concert. The music was fluid, the air was thick, and I was two weeks shy of my 15th birthday.
Thanks for the great memories!
Peace.
