@BnPac1 Through this time period she strained her vocals that she almost lost her voice. She wasn't off-key throughout the entire performance. Her voice was rough because of overuse. I think that this is a beautiful performance and the flaws are what makes it even more beautiful. Her voice went through a lot of changes, but her voice is still beautiful. It doesn't have that clear and melodious quality it use to have, but her voice is still soulful.

She sold over 30 million records and has so many awards! She just had a sold out concert on June 30th, where she just performed using only her voice and the piano., The AOL Piano and I concert. She had major success in the business and she is an A-list singer.

Vocally, she can fall flat and her range is shrinking... but singing with emotion and capturing me... she definitely got that in the bag. I do think Fallin, A Woman's Worth, If I Ain't Got You will be remembered for quite some time. I pray she grows a lot for her next record =) She is exciting to follow musically as far as mainstream singers go. Her new baby = lots of inspiration.

Alicia keys is amazing but i don't know how people aren't noticing the steady decline and harshness developing in her singing voice that was never there when she came out but we here on every track of "As I Am".
