  • Beautiful.

  • yes, there´s no have the winglets that´s sure

  • nice,,,,,,i like this video

  • Terrific video

Love the sound of those engines

  • Incredible, 5 stars.

  • hey people have you seen that the wing they don´t have the winglets, so in my opinion its a 747-300 or 200 anyway very exitrng the engineer power noise

  • That is Boeing 747-300..

  • No, it's a B747-200. Thats quiet easy to say since Lufthansa never operated the 747-300!

  • Right! Lufthansa never operated the -300 series. The last 747 -200 were replaced by -400 in 2002. Some 747-200 still operated as Freighters until 2005.

  • 747 the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think it sounds more like the engine of an Airbus - the typical metallic sound :-)

  • True. Some Airbus use those engines.

  • so nice

  • amazing sounds

  • It's truly amazin the General Electric CF6 engine's music

  • I think this is a -400, not a -200. Not the correct GE engines for a -200, and the wing looks like that of a -400. Besides, LH retired their -200s long before this video was made.

  • Sorry dude but it's a -200 for sure, just note that there are no winglets.

Furthermore I have no idea how you want to know when this video was made. LH retired their -200s after 9/11 and I got these videos in 1998 or so.

  • OMG!!! wasnt this on a FS98 CD add-on ???pls answer

  • Yes correct, it was from a CD from Data Becker!

  • Terrific video!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome footage! ! !

  • look at the flaps

  • Ok...Whats so special about them?

  • almost full flaps att takeoff O_O

  • Looks like 20° to me. On a 747 you can go up to 40°.

  • looks like that flaps at 747 can go up to 30

  • Yeah I guess you are right!

  • sorry if you took it in a mean way

  • Never thought or said so. :)

  • they just look cool!

  • I remeember when Lufthansa flew 747 200 into LAX. Those CF-6 did sound great at take off, but the RR 2:11 on Air New Zealand 747 200 sound better.
